Trust Psikyo to make a game with a significant amount of destructible projectile milking that is still only about 20 minutes to the loop. Also that's some seriously intense and impressive gameplay. Very enjoyable watch, thanks for uploading it.

On stage 10, the shots will always fail to spawn if you're directly/nearly in front of an enemy, no matter where they are on the screen

I can imagine the pain to reset the machine at every attempt, when played in game center. Though on a multislot does a cycle have the same effect?

+Aa A Yes, on a neo geo resetting will be enough, or a multi cab switching the game will be enough to reset the RNG. In the arcade, i think you should make a deal with your arcade manager to let you reset the machine whenever you want. You are gonna be putting tons of coins into it, so he should probably let you.

In the TAS replay, do you know why player suicide twice instead?

+Aa A Yeah, to get another powerup worth 2k points. But he actually fucked up and didn't get a bomb. I guess he forgot you can get bombs when dying. So my stage 1 non-tas is better than his tas stage 1 :P
