@@Dioslux If I had to guess? They took all the criticism from the late 2000s/early 2010s to heart and wanted to appeal to that crowd plus the 90s crowd. They soon realized those people didn't actually like Sonic as a series.

Him talking during the panel shed so much light on what held his performances back. The amount of pathos and passion he talked about the character now felt awesome. And just in this clip, I know this performance for the character will be one of my favorites.

This is Perfect, Perfect, Everything down to the Last Minute Details and Lore that I felt Emotional and seen Shadow and Maria’s Bond is Wholesome and Heartwarming, plus I didn’t expect Emerl Appearing.

So that’s who they got playing as Maria. It’s the same voice actress who did Hinata from Naruto and Armor from X-Men (Anime). I’m glad they are using human characters again, besides Dr. Eggman

I’m really curious how long each episode is going to be, definitely not expecting a full length anime episode for each one but I’m hoping for at least close to 10 minutes for each one. This looks so good

I'm lovin this animation! It reminded me of previous anime and games with animation like this. (Fire Emblem Three Houses, Sakura Wars the animation, Tales of Luminaria, The Seven Deadly Sins Movie, Tekken Bloodline, and Dragon Ball Super Superhero movie.)

You know, i had doubts on shadow's VA since it was from the emo hardass phase that started in the original generations But seeing this now, it pretty much confirms that all it took was a better voice director to do shadow's voice and personality justice

Some animation these days is straight up wizardry man. Between Spider-Verse, the new Dragon Ball Super movies, or Arcane, we're in a different era of animation and I LOVE IT.
