You can hear the disgust in Shadows voice in "You jumped out of a G.U.N. helicopter, there's nothing to talk about." It's clear he can't even hide it that someone so similar to him, even though he just met this person, is working for G.U.N. One more subtle thing is when you look at the movement of his eyes when he says that line, you can just see the pain in his eyes seeing that someone like him sided with gun. It's like he sees a part of himself in Sonic, about once being aligned with the people who took away Maria, and for just a second he reflects on his time with G.U.N., and the pain and regret and anguish resurfaces amongst his rage. This. Scene. Absolutely. Kills. It.
