People are saying that SA2 fans are winning with Shadow Generations. I would argue that it's more than just SA2 fans that are winning. I'd argue that fans of 2000's Sonic in general are winning. We're getting callbacks to everything. SA1, SA2, Shadow '05, even Sonic '06 fans are getting Kingdom Valley! Even Shadow's unused prototype design is a skin now! Sega finally realized that they have decades other than the 90's to pull from!

@@zachattack1279 exactly what it means big dawg let’s put it like this Sonic forces is the brainstorming part of a essay, then you got sonic frontiers which is the rough draft and then you have shadow generations which is the finished product of that type of style just like how sonic generations is a more cleaned up version of unleashed while unleashed might be a fan favorite Sonic generations definitely cleaned up some of the issues that they had in unleashed

I wondered that too. Would make sense, by the looks of it, Black Doom is only in his eye form, could be his actual body was destroyed fighting Shadow, if he created the Time Eater, he could undo the destruction of the Black Arms, comet, and get his original body back.

The level design looks like a bunch of straight lines with very basic hazards and hardly any enemies. Not even any rail switching. The boss fight looks interesting though.

I like this. I know people think the level design is bad but there are branching pathways however the person who’s playing isn’t accessing them. Other than that though solid game I’m not gonna preorder it just in case but I love what they did here. Just please get a better person to play the game sega

I love doom's introduction in the demo he just laughs evily as vengeance is mine kicks in only to fuck existance causing Shadow to panic and pick up pace as if avoiding being pulled in. On a side note too all the moments with doom is so good i wish they just made another game with what they had but ill take it
