This game looks great but I just realized almost every single modern sonic fan game is just sa2 with a few new mechanics, don’t get me wrong most of em are good but like come on man the boost formula needs some attention. This doesn’t even look X Sonic. All it has is the skid noise and the jump ball and that’s it. And it only has spindash and bounce like be original. And it has the BOOST. X Sonic doesn’t even use the boost ever!

boost is not on the mod by default, its a purchasable extra skill for all characters in the game.

There is a lot of things wrong with this... THE ABILITIES HAVE BEEN TAKEN AWAY, He has 6 quills... the 5 quills are clean and 3 is accurate, BUT 6?! bro is just modern sonic... He has modern sonic abilities... Again bro is modern sonic... This mod has good designs but peppermint did it wayy better, and the cartoony shadows really fit a anime character perfectly + outlines (just need to be larger) Jump animation is just a ring burst bruh... But I like it because it's accurate! And he has his own animations! But uh this mod is a GREAT 5/10 Could do some things differently! Like the quills!

A shame theres a difference between srb2 and swdx mods as the former allows code modifications, so the moveset inaccuracies arent the modders fault. I agree with the model differences though

move sets are limited so the modder can't make it accurate to srb2, besides they run on different engines
