Loved this film, Chicago native but went ATX during the filming of this, saw the premiere in Austin. This was filmed straight south of me at St. Elmo and south 1st in austin, TX.

The riff starting at 0:19 reminds me to Howard Shore's guitars in David Cronenberg's CRASH. That reminded me of Glen Branca... who happens to be a major influence of Sonic Youth (and the guy who released their first record!).

I can't think of any aside from maybe Drive or Baby Driver. There aren't any movies that have soundtracks like Pi, Requiem For A Dream or Natural Born Killers. Everything is made by computers and doesn't seem to have the same heart or soul. Get off my lawn. :)
