I mean, minus the boost games (besides debatably forces because Sonic is so slow in that) they usually go at the same speeds in their games unless Sonic has a deep slope, a speed boost, super sonic, or a spring to boost his speed

@@nojorooney i don't think so. (If ya' only mean Classic) even if you avoid adding momentum to Sonic by using down slopes or anything alike, Sonic 1 will reach a speed higher than what Mario has in World (game from its same time/era) without the super cape.

Mostly different characters in different games from mods dont fit well, cause the bones and animation, not to mention the clipping because of the model. so uh in gens the hud was changed to tailor the experience to mario, and even the komodo koopa over the egg dragoon is present, but no eggman mech over meowser, no custom hud, no different flagpole, it’s not a issue, it’s just odd. also I love there were voice clips added for sonic instead of it being a few model swaps I’m not trying to degrade the sm3Dw mod, I think it’s amazing, but there’s just things I find off in comparison to Mario in gens. also why not use the mario 64 generations mod?

I chose the Super Mario Generations mod because it uses Mario’s model from recent games. If I used 64 Mario, not only would the stages take forever to clear but also it would look odd because Mario’s model is so huge and of course it uses the 64 model which doesn’t contrast well with the Sonic mod imo. The Sonic mod was made to just be a simple model swap (like most 3D World mods) and added voice clips, seems a bit odd to make a full Sonic conversion mod for 3D world, tho would be cool.

Nah... There are some things Sonic shouldn't do like Mario. Don't forget Mario technically kills animals and the blocks he hits are people turned into blocks, which makes Mario wayyyyy more sociopath. It would be Sonic's character which would endure this mess if they switch places... so... Let's not try to imagine, can we? And it would be Sonic the annoying series which repeats itself again and again and not having this beautiful creativity it has during 2000s and with Frontiers.
