Cloud Final Code Veronica is bigger and better looking but Nemesis is the better game IMO. Some of the stuff in CV is just annoying: Steve, that bit with axe Steve where you have to tank at least 2 hits, the final boss is pure garbage and ends the game on a low note (in fact all bosses in CV are pretty lame). I just replayed both in prep for RE3make and Nemesis is more fun for me, especially if you actually fight him and get all the upgrades.

Leon at least was part of a Government Anti Umbrella Task Force fighting and finding connections between Umbrella and Black Market dealers like Javier Hidalgo, as further proof that would hurt Umbrella during the Raccoon Trials. Chris and Jill in the meantime were the ones taking out their main facilities around the globe. It was ultimately Wesker that brought Umbrella down with the information he uploaded in the mission that led Chris and Jill to the final Umbrella secret facility in Russia to find and kill the rumored Talos B.O.W.
