She seems so nice as a person... and such a humble celebrity..

I wish I could go back in time and hang out with alanis for a day in 1995. She seems like an amazing person, beautiful inside and out and just a genuinely cool person

I know, she’s changed a little.. (she’s been great up to the 2020’s 💔)

she was more intense back then. I still love her. I still follow her up to Havoc and Bright Lights, but wow, what a difference from 1995 to now.

One of my favorite artists ever. I’ve been critical of a lot of her material over the years but I love how much she follows her muse.

It is weird that when she was writing Jagged Little Pill, she wasn't 'trying'. She wasn't trying to make a hit record. In a way it was like giving up. But that process gave her so much success.

The clip of her belting out maryjane, that epic song, at the velvet underground is just amazing

Thats such an interesting backstory on her. Paula Abdul dance music to Post Grunge Rock Album. She seemed to pull it off seemlessly too. Not like a pop artist attempting to do something they're clearly not meant to do. It was definitely for the better.

I’ll be honest I wasn’t too interested in her music until I discovered her Canadian pop music from the early nineties and that’s how I got into her music

MCA underestimated Alanis Morissette so much, because they only wanted to make money. She went her own way and has enriched the world, with her beautiful music and grandiose lyrics to this day. Greetings from germany

"Fast forward to a few years later..." Jagged Little Pill is considered to be the 13th best selling album of all time on Wikipedia, the 19th best selling album of all time according to 'Business Insider,' the 69th best selling album of all time according to 'Rolling Stone,' considered to be one of the best selling albums of the nineties, and considered to be one the best selling album of 1995! I was born in 1997 and discovered Alanis last year in 2022 and it is insane how her music can resonate with someone so far from her generation.. many years after it's publication. Alanis Morissette is absolutely amazing.

You can tell she is really trying to look mature, even though she had still very obviously a teenage way of thinking. Which is entertaining and sweet at the same time. We've all been there, Alanis, don't worry!

Hard disagree. Was and is wise beyond her years in every way. Far smarter and more mature than most people, even at 21.
