The fact that neo metal Sonic appears blows my mind. It is said in idw that eggman intended to use neo metal Sonic in war,But when neo metal Sonic was ready, the war of Sonic forces was already over. But here we can see what it would have been like if neo had been finished on time

I love how Neo Metal Sonic speaks for a lot of fans who felt Infinite should've been the final boss. "The Doctor cast you aside before you had the chance to show your full potential. Don't expect me to do the same" Dr. Eggman represents SEGA, and Neo Metal Sonic represents the creators of this fan game.

This mod reminded me of why I loved Sonic as a kid This is the most Sonic Adventure type thing I've seen since Sonic Unleashed. I can't thank the devs enough for making this. It feels like the old Sega made this. All of the voice acting was good, but I was really impressed with how on point Infinite was. It almost sounded like the original voice in Forces.

What I like most about Metal and Infinite's partnership here is that for all that Infinite gives Metal shit for being "just like eggman", Metal didn't abandon him even in the end. For all that they argued, Metal could have tried to throw Infinite under the bus and escaped to fight another day, but instead chose to stick around and combine their powers. Even if he made many of the same mistakes that eggman did by getting too confident and not killing Sonic when he could, he proved that he is more like the real Sonic than he is just another badnick, by choosing teamwork and companionship over self preservation.

Idk why you're praising this partnership so much, it was clear Metal cared more about being the true Sonic than he did being genuine partners with Infinite. Eggman never threw Infinite away, and Infinite showed respect towards him for granting him this power and giving him the opportunity to become something more. Yeah he was sassy a couple times, but he never indicated once that was going to betray Eggman or did Eggman ever throw Infinite out. That's what I loved about their relationship in the actual game and this butchers it lol

This was amazing damn I would pay to play this compare to getting the Og Game free any day. But on a Serious note this was nothing short of phenomenal and it's amazing on how this all came to be. Taking the complete laughable base game of Sonic Forces and turning this into Short but really well executed Overclocked Mod is beyond words. Congratulations to everyone who worked on this you guys deserved all the praise and merits from this.

The team really out did themselves, finally seeing infinite recieve better story aspects alongside Eggman and the rest of the main crew. Voice Acting, Art Design, Game Soundtracks were all just the chefs kiss, 10/10. As well as the addition to Neo Metal Sonic is absoloutely fitting for the theme of this game with the eventual tease for a possibility for a newer project. The ending with Metal Sonic and Infinite had me laughing. Why wasn't this the actual Sonic Forces. Infinite and Metal sonic are even the final boss. Like why? Why go the lazy route and have the heroes fight Robotnik. I would prefer something like this as a plot twist. Infinite even made it clear he was working for Robotnik for his own selfish reasons.

Wish someone did super sonic vs full potential infinite in some way and make the battles take place in different realities that could be past sonic games or alternate versions of sonic stages from alternate versions of sonic games ( for example if terios was the final design for shadow and the stages looked different in SA2)

FINE SEGA! If you won't make Sonic Forces good again, then WE'LL DO IT OURSELVES!!! Seriously, why do WE have to make bad Sonic games good ourselves, like make the stages more longer or add more options to the main menu? Why should we as Sonic fans do all of SEGA's hard work for them!? This just comes to show SEGA has failed Sonic Forces in a bad way. It would have been one of the best Sonic games in a while had they taken their time with it. I like the idea of Eggman taking over the world but I wish the plot was more explained in the game, but NO!
