Because that classic sonic is from sonic mania. After you beat sonic mania and manage to collect all the chaos emeralds you will get the true ending and that’s how classic sonic was teleported to sonic forces. And at the ending of this game classic sonic teleports back to his dimension and that’s how sonic mania plus was added again a year later. Encore mode is a little sequel to sonic forces but of classic sonic coming back from forces.

I just...I want to like this game, I really do. It has so much potential with the story and the avatar concept but they just...didn't do it all that well. It's really unfortunate, as Infinite could have been such an amazing villain, and the idea of Sonic being MIA at the beginning is fantastic, I just wish they could have maybe...had it last a bit longer? Idk, it all seemed kinda rushed. Also, I know this is basically a game for kids (within borders) but honestly the fact that Sonic got TORTURED for 6 MONTHS and left exactly how he entered is probably the most unrealistic part of the entire series. I understand why they did it since they can't exactly change Sonic's whole persona because of what happened to him, being the hero and all, but if you're not going to include the consequences for someone's actions, why make the actions happen at all? What's the point? Sympathy? Shock value? If you really wanted a "shocking reveal", make Sonic handicapped because of what Eggman did to him, like geez. There are so many holes in the story and dialogue I could go on about, but I probably shouldn't in the comments of another person's video. Thanks for uploading this so I don't have to waste my money on the game xD

My Review On Sonic Forces:When this was announced back when mania i was super hyped since i love sonic! I became more hyped when i heard(i don't know if it is true!)it had been in the making for 5 YEARS! I thought "This game is going to be an epic sonic game". Then slowly it let out more news which made me more hyped!Then November 6th came and forces realised and just to be safe i watched this so i could know if it was bad or good.Lets just say this was not what i was expecting.The stages are short and i mean short.The boss battles seem repetitive.The final boss does not seem "Amazing!".The game is also very short. What i liked is the game-play and and how you could create your own character. My finale rating would be a 6.6/10 or a 7.3/10!

Tonally, Unleashed is the same. Yes the world's been split apart and it's crumbled into pieces, but while the characters take the situation seriously, they still have fun on their adventure. They keep a lighthearted tone inspite of the situation, and that gets praised to the high heavens, so why not Forces?
