Liu Kang has very safe projectiles, easy crushing blows, and much better frame data. If you’ve played Raijin you would know how annoying it is to fight zoners with it. By the time you reach full screen your discharge is gone. Raiden is good characters like Johnny which relies on footsies with perfect strings to punish with discharge.

King Plab No he’s not. When I played this shit game I mained Raiden with over 1,500 games played on a near 80% W/L with him. I have a lot of experience with him and know his matchups like the back of my head. Raijin is STUPID elite against non zoners and shit against good zoners or OP characters with good projectiles. It’s facts. Thunder Wave can play any character although is still at a disadvantage because he needs meter to be 100% safe. If they gave raijin teleportation he’s easily be S+ tier. But until then, he struggles against good projectiles.

Jordan Johnson big ass generalization. Liu kang can’t F4 Willy nilly in the neutral because you can out space it and it has bad recovery. Jacqui can only do the bionic jump so many times before you figure out how to anti air.
