So I don't know if you or anyone else knows this but if you're using the portals to try to get a combo out of them you don't have to put two of them out. Just do the first one and then do down forward why in the second one will automatically pop up in instantly take you into the portal.

I would say rain/Cyrax seems close to S tier just because of….well you know…Cyrax. He’s able to keep that pressure up and rains seems to shine more as someone with pressure rather than zoning. I’m curious to see Sonic play Rain with anyone other than Cyrax to see how he whoops ass

Sonic still doesn’t know the portal mix ups , there’s this guy who plays rain subzero and the corner mix with floor portal into the overhead is crazy , he gets the freeze then sets the puddle down and when the guy thaws he has to either block low or overhead and it’s a hard to block able that leads to a nice 30% or more combo

How xombat slowed the match down to adjust is what online players get mad at when someone whos not a pro plays that way. (Me). Most non pros want 40% hype matches, but when the pace gets slowed, they say "why are you running," or "are you just gonna stand there"?. Good adjustment by Xombat.

Yeah some characters are better than others but honestly in this game I feel like every character got some dirt especially with the kameos. I main kenshi/frost and I was getting pieced up by a li mei/scorpion. I couldn’t get in cuz of his zoning and when I did he hit me for half my life with scorpion kameo😂. This game isn’t catered to the casuals like mk11 so skill is definitely a real thing in this game !!

Not much lol. They’re a bit gimmicky but you can special cancel strings to be like -2 on block and you can you can amp teleport to actually turn it into a beam between two portals that’s pretty plus. About it
