Ich hab da so meine Probleme mit der Titulierung als "Christian Death". Letztlich ist es doch nur Valor Kand. Und selbst der war kein Gründungsmitglied.

Naja, innerhalb von 34 Jahren, seit Christian Death unter Valor weiter geführt wurden, kann sich die Besetzung schon mal ändern. Maitri ist aber auch bereits seit ca. 1992 dabei ergo seit 27 Jahren. Die Alben seit 1990 sind sicherlich Geschmackssache und mit Rozz Williams war es von 1979 bis 1985 sicherlich eine ganz andere Band. Ich muss gestehen, ich kenne die Frau nicht. Ich hielt sie erst für Eva O. Die Monsterbrille hatte das Gesicht so stark verdeckt. Daran merkt man erst, wie lange man schon die Entwicklung der Band aus den Augen verloren hat. Und natürlich idealisiert man da immer ein wenig, wobei ich nun nicht zwingend ein Freund dieser Rozz vs. Valor-Debatte bin. Ich mochte durchaus noch die frühen Sachen mit Valor, aber das hatte sich Ende der '80er/Anfang der '90er für mich totgefahren. Da muss man wirklich ein Faible für Hard Rock und Heavy Metal haben Danke für die Infos..

@@daisaigai7 Die Alben von Valor von 1985 bis 1990, wie "The Wind Kissed Picture" (später mit weiteren Singles "Past, Present & Future"), "Atrocities", "The Scriptures", "Sex Drugs & Jesus Christ", sowie auch noch die Sammlung unveröffentlichter Stücke "Insanus, Ultio, Proditio, Misericordiaque" (ursprünglich mit einem Song mit Rozz Williams) sind sicherlich ganz hervorragede Meilensteine des Gothic Rock, von welchen der Status der Band noch heute belebt wird. Was aber nicht heißt, dass es auf späteren Alben auch gute Songs geben hat, auch wenn der ursprüngliche Spirit sich verändert hat.

@@williamzimmerman7501 Evolve? Evolve is when something develops and grows gradually over time. These aren’t original members, NONE OF THEM ARE. If they’ve “evolved”, why are they playing songs of off OTOP when nobody sitting there wrote any of those songs? Why didn’t they use a name they made themselves and garnered their own fans for their own band instead of leeching of the success of other people? You call that evolving and change?

Rozz had left. Valor obtained the name rightfully and in case you forgot, he played on two of their most well-known album. Get over it.

@@williamzimmerman7501 Listen buddy, all you have to do is listen to only theater of pain and it becomes obvious that Rozz was a lyrical gangster mack and the creative force behind everything. And without Rozz the rest of the band are at best mediocre, and without Rozzs genius Christian death is just a legal title without any authentic artistic merrit. Sorry buddy.

Personally I didn't care for his feminine ways and how he allowed his obsessions and the goth scene to dictate his art..and ultimately his life.. but artist as I am I notice genius when I see it. In this situation you can collect any ten random people and with enough instruction and practice they can be as good as Rick Agnew..who was a good guitarist at best. However you can select the same ten people and no matter how much instruction or practice they have they will never achieve what Rozz had. Rare genius. How's that? Because you never seen genius or smelled it or heard it until someone else pointed it out for you. And still you don't know what you're looking at. I know because I have it my grasp. Remember my name. So long Zimmerman.
