Kirk really has gotten a lot better as Shadow. I always said he shone a lot in these takeovers cause he felt a lot looser. Able to breathe. Now that I realize he just didn't understand the character of Shadow until Dark Beginnings, I think now it's just cause he was able to easily bounce off everyone else. Which again speaks to his talent as a VA.

I really enjoyed this year's Sonic (X Shadow) Takeover! It was really hilarious and insightful! We got some lore on Sonic and Shadow (I always wondered what Shadow thought of the Hot Honey concert Amy promised to take him on in MOSTH), as well as what games Shadow and Maria played on the ARK! Loved that bit with Classic Sonic--Just silence. And when Sonic's voice got deeper---Didn't expect THAT to happen, lol; Caught me off guard. Additionally, the whole "Elise" bit didn't surprise me, since the events of Sonic '06 was forgotten by everyone except Mephiles, which explains why Shadow didn't recognize the Scepter; forgot who Mephiles was. Also Also, the part where Sonic called Abe is amazing! Didn't expect for him to be in the Takeover, even for a moment! That was nice. LMAO, the "Final Test" portion and the "Why don't you respond to my questions in each Takeover" was so amazing. Shadow called the "final test" guy out; that was amazing. EDIT: The "Skill Issue" part was amazing lmao 😂 My favorite Doom Power was the Doom Morph as well. Doom Wings and Doom Surf takes 2nd place for me though.
