I love Orzhov, especially Discard. It's sad, that nobody plays it, except Orzhov Lifegain. I decided to revisit my Orzhov Discard. Didn't take Lockdown, as I said yesterday, I want to play a bit intellectual magic. I could take 3LD+3DCU. I believe this is the best sweeper combo. So if you have any problem with Boros, just remove 2 white march and one DCU and add 3 Lockdown. You shouldn't have any problems with the rest of the matchups. Everything will depend on your skill there.

I am loving Soul Partition right now. It is a great tempo play against almost every deck, and a straight up removal spell against all tokens... and man are there a lot of tokens around.

8:56 it's better to exile warden instead of immodane's recruiter. If you wanted to save a point of damage, you could create a samurai this turn to block the recruiter and exile the warden next turn. either way you slice it, exiling recruiter is just plain wrong! you are giving them free scrys to find the cards they want and you leave a threat to your planeswalkers on the board. the game would be 10x easier if you exile warden, guaranteed! edit: also, you want recruiter in the graveyard instead of in exile, because recruiter is one of the best cards to hit with your deadly cover up!

Exiling recruiter prevents haste threats and ensures board wipes are actually useful.

@@liruenth exactly. recruiter is great to remove w/ deadly cover up. however, I'm commenting on his play with wandering emperor. In this deck, after recruiter's ETB effect, it is nothing but a generic 2/2. Boros has nothing to reanimate or bounce or flicker. It is 100% wrong to remove a generic 2/2 when he can remove a warden which is able to scry, grow, and eventually fly.

I love discard too but the problem is I always lose to stupid hyper aggro decks, mono red and boros are a pain in the ass with discard for me

I've seen Outrageous Robbery put away a lit of games. Seems like a single copy just to close the game out or catch you up if it runs long is perfect.

all these decks playing in Best of 1 are always comical to me. They seem fine but wouldnt last in a Bof3 environment with the top decks.

The real question is how you are getting all these cards... I would need heaps and heaps of wildcards to even test out decks you put out. It would be hundreds of dollars if not grinding and nitpicking drafts non stop until you participated in all the sets of the current standards?
