Frank Thorne was a great artist, who enjoyed his life.

My favorite is the Sensible, low-heeled boots. Sir Pratchett would be Proud

This is just awesome! As a kid in the early 80s I'm talking 7/8 years old my friends and I had gotten hold of the elf quest books! of course after the Conan movie and D&D and all. We all lived in the same neighborhood and there was a bunch of cool woods around to explore and just go wild. Any way we would play Elf Quest! We all had our characters and the holt was this really awesome spot. I was Sky wise lol! Anyways I never knew what you the writers of this amazing thing looked like till way later and was astonished! Red sonja is my favorite now besides EQ . Thank you so much! Looks like you guys were having a blast back then!

What a nice time capsule! Of course, I wish we had more of this footage and there was sound with it. I'm sure I would have loved the Sonja and the Wizard Show in its entirety, had I been in the audience then. It is still absolutely up my alley. Also interesting in terms of fan dedication and costume-making: Star Wars had only been out for a few months, maybe only weeks when this was recorded in 1977, and yet there is someone dressed in the full Darth Vader costume, helmet and all. So much fun costume work going on back then.
