As I watched you cutting, I realized it looked like ocean waves. I thought about America the Beautiful: O beautiful for spacious skies, and amber waves of grain, For purple mountains majesties, above the fruited planes... So glad you are having a bountiful harvest for your cattle.

Cole, we LOVE your videos---we always look forward to them! Could I make one suggestion? Maybe you could have lapel mics or some such, for when you and/or Brian (Brain) are inside a side-by-side, truck, or tractor. It's really hard to hear, and when I turn it up, then the scene shifts to outside and the volume blasts us out. Anyway, keep up the good work!! Our best to you, Tiffany, and all the family!

From what I learned about farming out west in the Plains states s fire suppression system like this a must have. It could be helpful to have a unit such as this attached right to the baler or combine. It has to feel like a blessing to have hay like this especially what you had last year. Keeping my fingers crossed for timely rains for the rest of the year.

Safety Sally here, I hope you are shutting down the engine when you are working on the cutter.......my dad got caught in a New Holland sickle bar cutter mounted on a Bi-Directional New Holland. The on /off switch malfunctioned and it came on while he was digging it out, he lived; did not lose any appendages, but beat him up and cut him up, needless to say he was in the house the rest of haying season. Happy haying!!!!

Hell yes. That fire rig is awesome. I built my own with 2 ibc totes and a high pressure pump. Same pump that’s on that rig. Works great! Be a good addition to the farm. I made mine because we are in the middle of nowhere and our neighbor had a barn fire. They called out 4 departments and it took 42 minutes for the first truck to arrive. That way to long. Now I’m not putting out a barn with my rig but it’s 660 galllons of water that can help any fire but mostly grass fires around our rural area

Hey Cole and Brian, I don't how to get a calf named but I have my father, Dennis, that deserves the mention. When I was 11 he saved my mom and I from my second father. Dad became my 3rd and last father. To say that my others 2 were not up to the challenge of being father is an understatement. When he came into my life he was a full time farmer with his dad and ended up working 44 years at Amana Refrigeration. He has and is my rock. Today he is 76 years old and always looking out for everyone else. Of course I have personal motivate. I'd love to show him the video when you name the calf Dennis and share it with him. He's a strong old farmer, there's plenty of time for you to get to his name. Much love and respect. Peace, Love and Cribbage

Awesome video Cole. Wish the grass in my yard looked 1/2 good as your fields. The only grass that grows is crab grass. Hey just a suggestion, on moving bulky and heavy things. Try some magic and snap your fingers. The Millennial Farmer does that and it usually works for him. Once in a while he'll goof and it'll do something strange for him. The least thing it could do for you is dump a bucket of water over your head. That bull that was close up on the cam was fine looking bull. 🚜🚜🚜

Thanks for another super video Cole. It was interesting and entertaining. Wow wow wow. What a great hay crop you have this year!!!!!! Seeing you and dad cut in the field is just great with as tall and thick your hay crop is!!!!!! Must be a pleasure to run the cutter in fields like that. Assume you can to run slower so as not to plug the machine. Your drone footage was outstanding!!!!! Great to see the cutter going through the hay and the wind blowing the hay as you cut off it. Just amazing!!!!! Good to see Sonny and Allie playing together again. Two real nice dogs. Sonny is so cute. Glad you got your plumbing hole filled back in. Hopefully all is ok now. That beer you got given to you is good Old Wisconsin beer label I believe. Enjoy. The fire suspension system you got delivered to you looks like a real good setup. Of course a good old Iowa company/ha!!!!!! Just giving you a bad time. It really looks like a nice system to do a variety of jobs. The fire protection system is the main one I believe. Sure will keep a machine fire from spreading for sure. Real nice piece of equipment to have at hand. Thanks for showing it to us. About it for next now I guess. Thanks for everything Cole You and dad take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.

just a thought on your leak if you have a hydrant in the barn, they are designed to let the vertical riser drain down when the valve is closed (how they don't freeze). If the O-ring or the valve body (below ground) are worn and leaking past the seat the water will flow out that drain port when the handle is down. Also, if you have something attached to the outlet so pressure can build in the vertical riser, they can leak a lot and be hard to see. An easy test is having the outlet open and handle down if you get any drips the valve in the base of the hydrant is leaking pass and because the handles in the down position the drain port is open causing it to leak underground. They can also leak under ground when the handle is in the up position if it’s a hydrant you leave open all the time. The test for that is pretty easy to just close it and see if the problem goes away,
