Keep up the good work ... don't give up. I just stared writing sonnets ... and all of this info checks out. Introspect, reinvent, and evolve: you've got what it takes. Don't give up: keep pushing.

Hey there, not sure if i can like this video but thanks alot The Information given is correct The presentation well to be precieved, Nice style Though... THAT VOIIIIIICEEEEEEE!!!!! hm.. sorry. but seriously. The voice is bothering and hard to listen to. I had to stop the audio after a few minuits and ended up using mostly your written stuff. As nice as music is, it is a bit too loud for me as to stressy ~Seemöve~

Thank you for the video explaining sonnets. Please take a few minutes to fix the auto-generated captions as they do not have capitol letters or punctuation. This will make the video more accessible to your Deaf and Hard of Hearing audiences. If you don't have the time, I'd be happy to contribute captions for you (if you open community contributions). Thanks!

Minor point: not just pentameter, but typically iambic pentameter; although not always - from memory, at least some of Wyatt's sonnets are in hexameter/Alexandrine.

Red and Grey My anxious is heart nearly torn in two Where should I even lay it down to rest? My life couldn't have been any more different Man or Animal, protection of which is best? My life has been a diverse array of colors Red and grey and more upon one vast pallet Born to one and yet raised so long by another Both care for me, I simply can't decide it Two waves crashing into me from every direction And there seems to be nowhere at all to run Hiding seems so great, but it cannot be so What I hold dear won't ever be undone My heart has now been torn in two Two homes will definitely do

I'm 140 into a 155 sonnet project, i.e. one more than Shakespeare is known to have written. A couple of weeks ago, my sonnet 74 got commended in the Sentinel Literary Quarterly's quarterly competition. You'll find it on p8 here:- sentinelquarterly.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/SLQ_JAN_MARCH_2017.pdf Also, back in November, I guerrilla-published my sonnet 75 as a Trip Advisor review of Leigh Delamere, a motorway service station on the M4 in Southern England, about 40 minutes from where I live in Bristol:- www.tripadvisor.co.uk/ShowUserReviews-g187049-d1877850-r436826996-Leigh_Delamere_Services-Swindon_Wiltshire_England.html Today I'm hoping to complete my first ever sonnet written in French. Here's the opening quatrain, no doubt full of mistakes as my French definitely isn't fluent:- Sonnet 141 Après avoir ces cent quarante écrit, je suis épuisé, et me considère une langue craquée léchante dedans un puits comblé d’une boue visqueuse, d’une croûte grossière.

Here's an update (1) My Sonnet 141, which I wrote in French, was published last month in the French Literary Review. I don't think the FLR publishes an online addition, so I'm afraid I can't provide a link. (2) My Sonnet 142 won 2nd Prize in the Sentinel Literary Quarterly's July(?) competition. Here's a link:- sentinelquarterly.com/2017/08/sonnet-142/
