My grandkids showed me how to watch utube so I could watch different shows like this. They said it would help me remember my younger days. I'm laughing about that. I never missed the Sonny and Cher show. What my grandkids don't know is that sometimes when I'm going through utube looking for memories of a day long past, I cry because I know my day is coming soon and it's terribly sad. Thank you to who ever takes the time to put these old clips on utube. I don't know if you get the power these clips hold. Peace

I miss the 70s so much. Being a little kid, watching quality TV like this, and like Carol Burnette, Happy Days, Charlie's Angels, The Muppets, Love Boat, Fantasy Island, and Scooby Doo every day at 4 after school. Awesome TV, which no longer exists. TV nowadays, and since Y2K, SUCKS. The 70s and 80s were INFINITELY better decades! Anyone who was there says so. We had almost no cares in the world in my childhood. In the 70s, my sis and I had full bellies at bedtime, clean jammies, our own bedrooms and nice beds. We were watching these shows in the evenings fresh from a bath, me with my soft kitty in my lap. Living in our nice little house, cozy and safe, with our tons of fun toys, nice school clothes, a dog, our kitty cats, new bikes to ride back when it was safe to play outside for miles around our house despite it being in the city. I missed my daddy like crazy but was lucky he was nearby and I could see him regularly. It was a pretty darn swell time.

Life is a journey Cher met Sonny and they ended up on a magic carpet ride of ups and downs, Chasity, was the blessing. The last time they sang, I got you Babe, on the David Letterman show, we oldies cried, it hit us finally that life is filled with our mistakes, how we make choices, are held accountable, through it all they came together that night and sang I got you Babe full circle life, as if it was given to Cher and we fans to say goodbye, because a' few months after that show Sonny died in a sking accident! I now fully believe that saying, that when we are going to pass our life will come back around before it ends and for Sonny and Cher that full circle moment was on the Letterman show. Had Cher not sang that evening she would of missed out on her kismit goodbye! Now Cher is near 70 something yrs old and although she has what she worked so hard for the only love truly in her life was Sonny she will be with him again ! What does Cher think of when alone? She must figure out her ending, her purpose, all her children grown, she works but, she's still filling a void that only once had been filled. I guess charity would be a great step. A quest to her knowing her family tree connecting on what is No more for when you lead your way you can end up truly alone, she once wanted another baby with Rob and it never happened! Although she's older she could still have that third by adopting a child, who she could give a journey, to a life to a child in need. what better way to say thank you. Sonny, made her wishes touchable. Lastly, you can make all the money have great things but you can't take it with you, which is why I never understood why millionaires and billionaires never set up a way to make it a purpose to possibly give a few back charity begins at home! When she told Oprah Winfrey, she wanted that third child, she had a dreamboard and yet has yet to fulfill it!! I think it would be fabulous joy to her heart adoption doesn't end because your older if rock stars men that is can have kids in there 80s why not Cher ....never say never blessings always ❤
