Brenda should not have talked to Lois about Sonny. She should have had this discussion with Sonny , her man. Outsider always make things worse. This eventually led to the downfall of their relationship. Outsider talking Brenda into wearing a wire. There is no way in hell I would have done this to the man I loved.

For those people who say Brenda is weak and whiny I have this to say to them. There's no way in hell that Brenda is weak or whiny. Brenda is a very strong woman. It takes a strong woman to put up with all of Sonny's shit. First of all, you have to remember, Brenda was with Sonny throughout his life before he was diagnosed with bipolar and she stood by him when a lot of women would not have. If that isn't strong or if that isn't love then I don't know what is.

He was bipolar then he just wasn't diagnosed yet. I know people in real life like Sonny they r hard to deal with. My husband is like him. It's amazing what a person will learn to put up with for love. Even though there's only so much a woman can take!!

Just lina - Maurice was diagnosed with bipolar when he was 22. So, when he was on GH he knew he was bipolar. However, Sonny wasn’t diagnosed with it till early 2000’s. I believe Emily helped him figure it out.

Sonny was diagnosed in 2006 with it. That was the only good thing about Emily being around Sonny. I'm not even going to mention the other stuff.

And there it is right there. Brenda said she could handle anything about Sonny as long as he told her the truth. Like anyone else, she hated being lied to. It was the lies that destroyed their relationship. Sonny sabotaged that relationship because of fear. He was afraid of his feelings for Brenda so he pushed her away. Mike saw it and called him out on the last episode.

Brenda had every right to try and confide in her best friend. She couldn't speak to Sonny who would immediately get defensive and shout her down even while he knew he was lying to her. She needed someone. Sonny was living a big dangerous lie. He chose the Mob life, so people need to stop excusing his big big lies. Tell the woman the damn truth and let her decide if she wanted to be a part of that life. He took her choices away with his damn lies and everyone is riding Brenda for talking to her best friend. Can anyone imagine the trauma she was experiencing not having a clue about what this man she was sharing her life with was really doing? Love Sonny or not but the fault is not with Brenda, this is all Sonny.

Hurts my heart that she feels the need to leave the room when Sonny comes. Sonny lied when he said he didn't know who was taking over for Frank Smith, but he told the truth other wise with a few exceptions. ISH still ain't right, tho. Sonny you messed up cause now Brenda don't believe a word you say. She is doubting the "Love" you say you have for her. I mean we haven't seen some good S&B loving in FOREVER!!!! Sonny: I love you. Too much to let you be unhappy. Me: TF, ARE YOU GONNA DO ABOUT IT, SONNY????
