This is why jason gives brenda such a hard time.. Sonny told him just in talking about the wire, and he feels that he so loyal to sonny he dont trust brenda.. Funny how in the beginning jason loved brenda .. When she and Aj argues jason always had her back.. Thats why they got along!

Brenda has been just as mean to Sonny during her marriage to J** as Sonny was to her during his marriage. Proof they are the same both used anger and pettiness to distance themselves from one another, but still NEVER stop being around each other. Sonny and Brenda may have broken up, but they were still together not missing a beat in each other life.

I totally agree with you. The meanness is simply a defense mechanism they used in order to not give in to their feelings. They continue to have a deep love for each other but the meanness is used as a distraction until they cave in.

@@MyDymin For real. Hate is the opposite of love, but both strong emotions. They felt too much for each other. Sonny told her she is a part of him just as his arms and legs. He said they hurt each other because it doesn't matter, you can't take out your own heart so matter what they did to each other, they remained connected.

I watched the show since the 80’s . What I am saying is he did all of that to dump her again. He should of left her with Jax. The relationship with Jax was a healthier one. After he left her the girl went into mental distress, but me like a dummy was rooting for them. When I think about it she could of killed herself. Sonny was about Sonny, he talked a good game, but he toyed around with her too much.

@@lakeside321 As a Sonny and Brenda fan for LIFE. Back in my younger days, I thought why he do her like that he is such a COWARD! Sonny didn't purposely get back with Brenda just to dumb her he loved her entirely too much. Looking back at this through my much more mature eyes. Sonny simply could not handle Brenda and the business at the same time. Sonny's greatest fear has always been not being able to protect Brenda. In his mind, he left her to save her life. What he fell to realize what that Brenda was his STAR PLAYA she was down for riding that life with him, but he didn't see it at the time. But, if she would have died because of his lifestyle he could never live with himself. In fact when Brenda "died" he tried to kill himself by drinking himself to sleep at night. Brenda wasn't happy with J** she took pills the entire time just so she wouldn't have to deal with reality. J** didn't even see it, plus J** lied about having a WHOLE other wife all he cared about was Brenda beauty and her being a model their relationship was unhealthy. I agree Sonny was wrong for how he went about letting her go, but I can't knock his reason, tho. I will always and forever root for Sonny and Brenda because their love is REAL!

J** has never been the "better" man he was a womanizer and user. He kept things from Brenda as well. Not for her own good like Sonny but just because he could. He is not a HERO! Sonny has been after Brenda since before J** was ever created. Fact is Brenda didn't need any man to be happy. Sonny had his faults but he grew because of Brenda. Yes, he put her through more than anyone should but Brenda loved and believed in him wholeheartedly. Brenda reinvented herself for every man she has ever been with trying to find herself. Sonny loved her on a level no one ever could not even J**. Brenda taught him how to open his heart and love someone. Far, as their marriage that Sonny , I don't even know. He has been destroyed by C**** just like J** has. Of course he put her through some unnecessary BS and I can't stand him for that. But, their relationship got stronger. I'm S&B for life I get why their struggle was so REAL even more so now.

He let her walk down the aisle knowing he was not about to marry her in front of family and friends just to humiliate her in front of everyone. Over a goodbye kiss! Then he tried to pay her a FUNKY million to leave town. J** a BISH!! He STUPID for wanting to be second place next to Sonny. Who's to say she is alone, tho? Brenda never stays by herself for long which is one thing I don't like she can do bad by herself she doesn't need a man to be validated.
