This is when they faked Laura death and Sonny doesn't make it to the fake funeral because he gets a call that Brenda was in the hospital!! This is when Dr. Dorman has Sonny kidnapped back to his home injected by heroin Brenda was at the fake funeral and asked why Sonny wasn't there she felt it in her gut that her true love was in trouble!! Okay, there is a major difference between how Jax let her have her feelings for Sonny and was so understanding when she would go to him. He had his eyes wide open and he already knew about Sonny, he knew he was the only one in love at that point. But, he kept this huge secret from her and this was a total blindside after they were both in love.....so I kinda get the whole regression to old patterns and turmoil. JS.

I totally agree with you. I understand Brenda being pissed with everyone involved. She was TOTALLY blindsided. Even if AppleJxx had told her, then Miranda showed up at the wedding. I would like to believe B would have handled this situation differently. Can you imagine marrying a man, then his dead wife shows up, a wife you didn't even know of. Now your not sure if you're marriage is legal to this man. Your husband, or so you think husband - you hear him say, this woman was the love of his life. Then no matter how wrong it was, you read how he expressed his love for this woman in writing and you haven't gotten one letter or poem from him. Additinally, this open and honest husband you thought you had, won't tell you anything about the love he had with this woman. Nor will he say if he is still in love with this woman, and he's going out to dinner with her and being out late with her. On top of all that,, his father tells you, you will have to fight for his son. What woman would deal with that with a smile on their face and unhurt heart.

Donnalyn Matteson the cassadines. They held her mother prisoner since 1984 when everyone thought she died from a car accident. They drugged her so it was,l plan fake both their deaths so Lesley could get treatment. The were rescuing her from cassadines and they had think both Laura and Lesley were dead to do this

Yes, she came back twice after maternity leave in 1997 once to let ned see the baby for the first time and once to support brenda after sonny left her at the alter! Then she(rena) never returned because rena soffer and Wally kurth were in the early stages of a divorce, the character eventually returned In 2004 for about a year played by leslie kaye but she wasn't recieved well!
