Lily was sad & pathetic. I mean what kind of women would pay to have someone marry her, and failed to make him love her and to make matters worse for herself, Sonny never in their entire marraige did he ever said the words "I love you" to Lily! Yeah, she knew that but then they turned it around as they made her more and more desperate for him. Which honestly looking back, didn’t come off very well at all. Especially when you look at the whole relationship and how he mistreated and disrespected Brenda quite a bit.
