John Wilson, who directed this animated video and all the other animated sequences for the Sonny & Cher Comedy Hour, passed on recently at age 93. He worked for Disney, UPA (Mr. Magoo,) and Hanna-Barbera as well as his own company.

Oh my good god, this takes me back. Just watched Fringe episode 'Brown Betty' which featured this song, and knew I'd heard it before as a kid in the 70s and a cartoon rang a bell, but couldnt remember who sung it, bit of googling later, and viola, Sunny & Cher!! Thank you for having it on YT. xo
