I kinda wish they should have did Shelley Hack better in season 4, they should have shown Tiffany Welles's fighting skills in that season. I kinda felt Tiffany was considered the weakest of Charlie's six Angels.

Kelly had the most hints at having an interesting backstory in the early episodes because she was kinda supposed to be the lead angel. But Kate Jackson, the one that had the most previous acting credits, was supposed to play Kelly. Kelly was originally written as a tough, street smart orphan from “the wrong side of the tracks” while Sabrina was the rich girl. For some reason, Kate Jackson insisted that she wanted to play the glamorous, high fashioned Sabrina and they accommodated her because she was their star. So in early episodes, you have a few allusions to Sabrina having wealthy parents. Kelly being an orphan KINDA stuck but only really in having empathy for abandoned or abused kids … and then being embroiled in a scam where it was thought she might be a lost heiress in a season 4 episode (spoiler: she wasn’t.) But Kelly being a “wild child” never really played out. There were hints of abuse with Beamish locking her in the closet (The Seance) but never any rebellious wild child history revealed. And then Kate who insisted she wanted to be Sabrina with the fancy clothes later decided she just wanted to wear a lot of turtlenecks and more casual clothes … and rich girl Sabrina was pretty much dropped. FWIW, the first movie version was closer to the original treatment: Drew Barrymore’s Dylan was more like what Kelly was supposed to be and Lucy Liu’s Alex was more like what Sabrina was supposed to be.

Tanya Roberts had really pretty eyes; but I don’t get why they did her makeup that way with all that heavy black eyeliner. Her makeup was almost clownish; they didn’t do that to the other angels.

I love it. I wish there was more genuine interaction between Kelly, Kris and Julie.

Those scenes about BEAMISH are truly hilarious 🤣yet back then take note of how they were very, very creative with making those plots and scripts. Not to mention, in today's parlance, Beamish can also be perceived as a metaphor, alter ego or symbol of any person, celebrity or politician you'd love to hate--or more precisely make fun of. I believe Sonny at that time was being selfish and totally in control of Cher's as well as his finances. Cher was naive when she got involved and was matured of what to expect from Sonny. As for Gregg - a total addict for years which Cher just accidentally jumped into that relationship considering Sonny being too controlling and after the divorce she just foolishly got into a relationship with Gregg Allman. She did right to separate and later divorce Gregg Allman. Nothing is worse than a person who is totally involved in drugs.
