Oh wonderful!! Thanks for posting ! They had such charisma together - I just love them as a performing couple - Cher went in to rock the charts and was also so successful in movies I’m sorry she didn’t make more but apparently she didn’t want to - she remains a legend in her own time - I hope eventually they will have a museum just for her- don’t know if her children will be open to that - I just love her she rocks 🌹🌹🌹🇦🇺😎

I agree! The King’s version is as every bit as good as Three Dog Night’s version. “Never Been To Spain” was written by Hoyt Axton, who’s mother Mae Axton wrote “Heartbreak Hotel”.

Do you see the woman performing in this clip? Well the guy next to her made it possible. No question she is remarkably talented and unique, but Sonny made the opportunities happen and capitalized on every asset and presented her in the most advantageous ways. I’m sure Cher would agree, because she has remarked many many times without Sonny there would be no Cher. And that is what I believe she saw in him-he gave her the platform. And I believe he did love her because he risked and labored on her behalf. That’s pretty attractive imo. They were wonderful when performing. Private lives are complex. Especially in the entertainment business. I worked in it for many years and loved it mostly. It’s tough to find the balance for anyone because it is a business like no other. It’s a wonderful business but full of complexity. I have always loved Cher. And I’m grateful Sonny presented her as he did. They brought me much happiness as a child. They still do. Watching them is pure joy.
