the fretting behind thing is WELL worth struggling with if you know your theory you will be away in no time

@matthewworks989 depends on what playing style you're looking for. Pinky is better for delta blues i think, since you're playing rhythm too. But if you wanna play like duane i think your ringfinger is the best wawy. Then you have support of 2 fingers, the middle and the pink, for vibrato and sliding. But its all about preference of course.

this was over my head, not a slide player.... I was looking for : set up, tuning guitar , technic of slide use.

I'd love to wear it on my pinky - but my fingers are so darn skinny, I've yet to find a slide that fits it.

utoobia Not necessarily true though. I play with the slide on the ring and make chords with pinkie, ring and index which also gives me a better strech than playing with the slide on pinkie.

Lots of guys do. Much better once you get used to it. Allows you to have THREE fingers available for chording.

This is wonderful info... but gee GP couldn't you have brought a decent video camera? The sound is terrible and the picture's nothing special either.
