Great video review...Thanks. I recently bought this device to use in motor mode for the shutters. Then I have connected a RF remote to it as well, with Open/Stop/Close buttons. The problem is that when I add scene trigger for Dual R3, there is NO Stop function, only Open, Close, and Open Percentage!!! It's frustrating because in a typical remote, I should be able to stop the motion anytime I want, right? I can't believe this simple trigger is not available. Is there a way around it? Thanks

Excellent video looking for this solution sometime now... some questions if you could answer to me: 1. Is there a reset function on the app for the switch, in case you want to reset it without opening the socket to press the button ? 2. Have you tried to fit it, in a EU Socket box ? 3. The original blind switch still remains fully functioning? 4. As the blind is operating from the app can you still press the physical switch and bypass the app i.e. Routine opens or closes the shutter but you want it to stop one of the shuttters can you bypass it with the physical switch? (hope it makes sense :) ) Thank you

Reset: I am not sure what you mean. How you want to reset it? I did not see such features, so no. You can turn off your circuit breaker... 2: No I did not, but you find the dimensions on Sonoff official website. 3: You can install the original switches in parallel with the Live outputs. That would work, but when you use the switches the app will not now that the blinds have moved and will not show an accurate position. 4: to be honest I did not test that. I assume the button always overrides and automation.

Olyan sokat vártam egy sima RF fali kapcsolóra, hogy vagy elfelejtettem amit akartam, vagy az alapötletem volt hibás... :) Szerinted van bármi esélyem arra, hogy egy R3 mini + SNZB 03-as mozgásérzékelő alkotta rendszerbe beillesszek egy manuális RF433-as kapcsolót (RF és Zigbee bridge is van)? A cél, hogy az egyébként jól működő mozgásérzékelős kapcsolás kiegészüljön egy manuális lehetőséggel. Előre is köszönöm, ha tudsz valamit javasolni!

Szia, szivesen. Uh, nagyon regen használtam már a sima RF-et. De szerintem menni fog. Annyi lesz a baj, hogy amikor RFfel kapcsolod fel a lampat, akkor lehet hogy a mozgaserzekelo is bele fog szolni es o lekapcsolja. Szerintem kezd azzal hogy megcsinalod SNZB 03 és a R3 mini Scene-jeit. És aztán amikor az RF kapcsoló Scene-jét definiálod, akkor azon túl hogy felkapcsolod a R3 mini-t, kikapcsolod a mozgásérzékelő Scene-jeit. És lekapcsoláskor pedig vissza. Én akkor ha kézzel irányítod a lámpát, a mozgásérzékelő nem fog beledumálni.

@@csongorvarga ez volt a kulcsmondatrész: "És aztán amikor az RF kapcsoló Scene-jét definiálod" - Az SNZB és az R3 rendben működik hetek óta, csak az RF érkezett most meg. De a lényeg, hogy egy scene-t kell létrehoznom a kapcsolóval és ezután ezt a scene-t már hozzárendelhetem. Na akkor ezt gyorsan kitalálom, hogyan kell ! Köszi, szerintem átbillentem a holtponton :)

@@tomujj Igen, és ha jól emlékszem akkor a gombot nem buttonként hanem alarm-ként kell definiálni. És nem fogod egy gombbal megcsinálni (szerintem), hanem kell egy bekapcsoló és kikapcsoló RF gomb.

Mindenben igazad lett és sikerült ügyesen beállítani pont azt amit szerettem volna: WC a helyszín :) Mozgásérzékelő nappal fehéret kapcsol éjszaka gyenge fényű zöldet. Mindkettő 3 perc késleltetéssel lekapcsol automatikusan (gyerekbiztos :)). Ha a megadott 3 perc kevés lenne (vagy bármi miatt éjszaka kell nagyobb fény), akkor az RF kapcsolóval felkapcsolható a fehér fény, ami szintén 3 perc múlva automatikus lekapcsol. Köszönöm!!!

Whatever you said about motor calibration for shutters makes perfect sense only it just does not work like that. I hit calibrate and turns the motor off and stops there. Could not find any official procedure.

Szia Csongor, azt szeretném megkérdezni, hogy szerinted lehet a kapcsoló és a motor módot használni egyszerre? Úgy értem az egyiket az egyik áramkörön a másikat a másikon. Van egy elektromos redőny motorom és mellette egy szellőztetőm. A szellőzőhöz áramkör megszakításra lenne szükség a motorhoz pedig a motor módra. Ha lehet akkor nem kellene 2 sonoff eszköz a kötődobozba. Köszi.

Nem lehet. Mármint egy redőny motornak két bemenete van. Nem tudsz ahhoz csak egyet használni...

Hi, can I connect a Sonoff Dual R3 like this one to a garage curtain door that has an electronic board with a radio remote for opening, stall and closing with the same button? I tried connecting like you did, but my double switch that I have outside to open and close does not have the classic 3 wires (phase, up and down), it just has 2 wires that go to the board with the photocells, one is central like a phase, and the other one is connected to both sides of the double switch, like a car window opener button. I tried so to wire the Sonoff without using S1 and S2 and intercepting the rolling engine up and down cables, connecting these ones to L-out-1 and L-out-2, but with no success. Can I try the reverse? I mean to connect the 2 wires to S1 and S2 and to leave the engine on the board? Because when I tried the first configuration, and tried to rise up the door, the power went out, but I just intercepted, as I said, the engine wires with no mistakes. It seems that this Dual R3 is good for normal situations without electronic, but my aim is to emulate the remote control (open, block, close, re-block, re-open and so on, with 1 button), so how can I do if my doubleswitch is that weird?

My experience is that garage doors openers inputs only expect a switch to be connected, that connects the two terminals together. The Dual and almost all other Sonoff products, let the mains voltage through to L out. Therefore I would not even recommend using it for garage doors, it can damage the opener. So I don't think you can use that. I would only use the 4 CH Pro which has replay outputs that are independent from mains voltage.

2000W is right on the limit, I would not do that. I would rather use something oversized for such a big consumer, like a POWR3

Kedves Csongor! Nemrégiben szereztem be egy Dual R3-at és szomorúan vettem észre, hogy nem fér be a már meglévő fali dobozba (kb 5 mm kellene hozzá). Szerinted, ha veszek 2 db Zigbee Minit, be tudnám kötni a már meglévő 2 gangos kapcsolóhoz? A kapcsoló mellett rögtön van egy dugalj is, ahova be lehetne rakni a másik minit. A problémát nehezíti, hogy a kapcsolón 1 be - és 2 kimenő csatlakozási lehetőség van. Alternatívaként ott van még a TX széria, de az sem férne be a meglévő dobozba és csak ezért nem akarnám megbontani a falat, valamint ragaszkodnék a billenő kapcsolóhoz.

Szia, igen két mini ugyan azt a funkciót tölti be mint egy dual. Viszont sokkal többet kell kábelezni, remélem azt nem lesz gond. A kapcsolókon általában 2 kimenet van, hogy alternatív kapcsolásban be lehessen kötni. Használd az egyiket.

Yes, that is basically the motor mode, that is designed for blinds. It either goes up, or down, or completely off.

For my roller shutter I use a "normal" Sonoff Dual. When I use "Interlocking" the feature "Schedule" isn't available. Does this Sonoff Dual R3 combine those 2 features?

I am away from home now and my device is offline, but still I can see that the device is in motor (blind motor) mode and there is a schedule button at the bottom of the screen. So the answer is Yes it does support Schedules.

Sorry no. Homekit is a completely different system. If you search in Aliexpress for "HomeKit" there are a few devices available. Based on the screenshots in the listing they do work with homekit.

I think they are pretty much identical, but this works with Sonoff devices, and Shelly works with Shelly devices. So only the ecosystem is different.

@@delaveganz So I only have a Google Home. On your Home app you click Add, "Works with Google" and then you need to link your ewelink account to your Google Home. After that all your ewelink devices will also appear in the Home app. I am not sure how that works for Alexa.
