Thanks for this informative demo & informational vid. What make/model replacement snares do you recommend? I saw on Amazon that Evans has a whole line of them, including brass, but I saw no explanations regarding their features and benefits fo the tyoe of sound that they produce. Thanks!

Sorry, I didn't see this. Typically I use a Drum Dial, not a Tune Bot. The Dial is 78 on the top and bottom of the toms, 88 top snare, 82 bottom snare. The bass drum is probably at 74.

its possible to get a good cross stick a 13 . ive heard on it 12s . gotta move the stick up and not catch the rim where one would normally do on a 14. that's the secret . search for the sound.
