Have them, not tried to connect, yet, to my sonos system, but would agree with all you say, sooooo comfortable too, have fell asleep with them on and woke up, still in place, and still sooo comfortable, great sound also! Look around for deals too, I paid £80 less, because I did this, from a sonos distributer!

Good info. What about phone calls and mic quality? How do the Sonos Ace compare to AirPods Max or another competitor in this category?
@TomHansonKNVPStudios25 күн бұрын
I wonder if Sonos could somehow make the Sonos app become a Sonos play out endpoint, and then use the phone’s built in Bluetooth to output the Sonos app so that we could use the Sonos app to listen to content within the Sonos ecosystem

At some point we need to stop treating headphones and speakers like the rest of the tech that we see reviewed everyday on KZbin. Speakers and headphones do not need to be upgraded every year and they really don’t need more fancy features every year. You use headphones to listen to music and if they are good for that you can use them for decades before you need to upgrade. I use Apple AirPods for travel and casual listens and things like that and I use a 25 year old pair of B&Os to listen to my analogue music. I don’t need to upgrade my B&Os and I don’t need them to be anything else than what they are. Most audio brands do not upgrade their headphones and speakers for 4, 5 or more years and I’m sure they would if they had a reason to. These are not smartphones or laptops or what have you. These are devices for your audio pleasure and they can deliver tons of that for decades. I’m tired of people looking for “innovation” every six months be it features or cables or little lights and bells and whistles. Headphones are nothing like that. I like watching your channel because you seem to have a deeper understanding of audio and music reproduction than most so please make this point and help people understand what they need to do with their headphones.

These look very nice but too many software issues. I would love to see a Bose ultra headphones review they look awesome I have the AirPods Max as I’m in the ecosystem but I may have to find alternative as they are heavy
@Benzo97Ай бұрын
I second that. I have the Ultra, and I love them for it's comfort. The sound isn't anything special but for traveling or just casually chilling to any kind of content they're my go-to. Some reviewers say they sound great and others say they're completely off. So having Jason's opinion would definitely be interesting there.

returned them as I find the sound ‘flat’ and lack clarity. sound is pretty good but definitely not $400 good. prefer Sony xm4 sound.

Is it worth the money ( considering the price and software problem ) ?
@Barry-qr9ouАй бұрын
No, since sonos is not able to fix their software issues. I have a house full of Sonos and since the app update everything went to sh… the app is crap and the hardware is unstable as f… So do yourself a favor and not buy this halfproduct.

My house is full of Sonos Speakers and the software is much better with the updates. I have no problems since last update.

On a discount of $50 > They do sound pretty good and the ANC I would say is competitive. They are built better than the Sony WH-1000XM5 to the point ill suggest them.

Are you going to review the audeze Maxwell?

What app are you using to monitor the decibel?
@thejasontlewis22 күн бұрын
It’s built it iOS 18. You can add it to your control center.

Sonos app doesn’t work with the Ace for music control as the Ace aren’t wifi. They are Bluetooth. Thus they need to be controlled by each paired device individually through services such as Spotify or AM
@thejasontlewis24 күн бұрын
Which is weird. I understand the reason, but putting them in the app alongside the other devices is confusing as heck.

personally I'm not of the belief that u need to pay $400 for good sounding headphones. I just got the OnePlus buds 3 for $70 and they sound good at least to me. I'm cool with that
@paultomaszewski1964Ай бұрын
Blame the loudness wars (it's real) on why todays music is that much louder than music recorded prior to about 2005-ish.(maybe earlier) At least with the popular music of today, other genres are recorded better and proper and are not going to blast your ears like that.

Can we agree never to use the expression “vegan leather” ever again? It’s just plastic.
