I love your reviews because you let us hear how the speakers sounds, which is probably the most important thing(at least for me). I really hate videos that people talk and talk and talk about the speaker but don't play music for even one sec. It's just really annoying.

He’s 100% right about the two soundbars. I’ve tried both in house. The Beam is fantastic for the money but the Playbar is worth the upgrade price.

Thinking of getting this and adding on the 2 rear speakers later. But the subwoofer is like £699 in the uk and I just dont see how sonos can justify that price for a subwoofer. Wonder if sonos will bring out a different subwoofer ( more affordable) to accompany the sonos beam?

I'm still looking for great sound for games and movies for my Sony 930e television and I kinda want Dolby Atmos but most of the soundbars aren't too great and don't come with rear speakers at all. Only other solution would be a full home cinema set up. I however like how Sonos is all connected wirelessly. How would a full Sonos setup be for gaming? I mean I assume it does support Dolby Digital right?

You are right floss...400 is too got damn high. I was lucky, I bought an open box one from best buy for $319 and 10% off. Only payed 298 with tax, now that's a go. Bought two play1 and now my bedroom sounds awesome.

I used to have a 5.1 Denon kit. Was absolutely amazing, but it took up a lot of space. I’d be curious to see how a sound bar matches up. Especially the ones out nowadays. I’m looking to buy the Sonos potentially.

I have a Sonos Beam and two Play 1's and was wondering if it's worth exchanging for the playbar. I was just curious because the playbar was released in 2013 and the beam this year and I was wondering if they ever release other formats would they both get it or just the Beam or do you think it will be only Dolby Digital

If that Playbar is above your tv it needs to be rotated brother. Speakers on a 45 angle and will be firing at the roof.
