Need to be able to use the era 100s as rears and as a setro pair too with out unparing them to repair them and then ture play again. Such a hassle. Just want to take my 100s as a pair and just use them in another room with out the hassle.

Please add support for front left & right, this would be a gamechanger. We have 16ft ceilings and a 1700 sq ft space, and the arc feels like it needs the hellp.

Thanks for the video. Would sonos consider selling a reference microphone to trueplay tune the speakers? Would help android users, and also iOS users worried about their microphone muffled up by pocket lint.

Hey, thanks for this. I'm surprised it doesn't have many more views. Question about the 300s: Is it true that you can't move Era 300s from a home theater (surround) grouping (with an Arc and a Gen 3) back and forth to an all-house streaming music grouping (with two 100s and a sub mini) when you're doing one or the other (watching a movie / listening to music)? In Era 300 reviews it's been said or implied that you have to designate (permanently?) the 300s to either one or the other usage -- how can this be? Why can't I just open the Sonos app and re-group them on the fly? If this is true, is there any hope of it changing? I'd love to using the Era 300s I'm thinking of buying for both as rears and streaming... thanks.

Great video! I just have one issue with Trueplay, when I ran Trueplay with my ones as rears, I would get uneven sound as the right was overpowering the left, the right one was about 3 feet away from my mlp and the left about 5 feet away, isn’t Trueplay supposed to compensate for that? I encountered the same issue when setting up my era 300s as surrounds, I had to run Trueplay closer to the right speaker to trick it in lowering the volume. In my old apartment trueplay used to fix issues with volume caused by one speaker being closer than the other but this seems like a more recent issue.

When will we be able to add more surrounds like sides, so I could use say 2 Era300s rears and 2 Era100s sides or 4 Era100s Sides and Rears or other variations. Why is there a hard limit on 2 speakers paired.

Thank you for the Q&A Not loving the Sonos app for playing music. I'd rather Sonos just work from whatever streamer app of my choice. I DO listen to vinyl on my Sonos system, and would love the app to show me information about the album I'm listening to. Cheers from #michigan

Hi! I have a question. It seems, according to this video, that the era 100 as surrounds make the atmos 7.1.4. Does the 100 use the two tweeters for the extra channels? Would this provide an extra ‘upgrade’ over the One’s? Thanks!

I have the couch against a wall and going to mount the speakers on the wall. How high over ear level should they be mounted? Is 2 feet okay?

Hi Stian! Thanks for your question. If you are mounting Era 300 within 2 ft (.61 m) of a ceiling, place it upside down for the best sound. And when Era 300 is placed next to a wall or on a shelf, leave at least 1" (2.5 cm) clearance in back and 8” (20.32 cm) on each side of the speaker. Hope this information is helpful!

@@sonos Thank you for your answer, but how high over my seating area (ear level) should they be placed? I will make sure that it’s more than 2 ft from the ceiling, but i dont know how high up on the wall it should be compared to my head

@@sonos Thank you for the quick feedback. One last question. What is the recommended distance for a listeners ear to the speaker? Will 40 cm be to little or will the speakers adjust the sounds volume depending on where the listener is seated after Trueplay has been used? Thank you.

Great question. You'll always want to make sure that you give the speaker ample space as to not block the drivers. Personal sound and volume preferences will vary person to person. But you are correct that Trueplay will help tune your speakers to your space, ensuring that sound bounces off the surfaces properly for the best sound quality.

@@sonos one thing I would like to say. There is a lot of potential for Sonos in the Indian market provided Sonos keep the pricing right and of course after sales support. Apple made a mistake earlier ignoring this region and now they are selling their products in higher number. Just a food for thought. 😊

What is going on with the vertical, I-Phone-like video format? Studio lighting completely washes out the white speakers in foreground. Recommend starting with an overview of the speakers -define which specific features distinguish them from other products in the Sonos family...THEN...going to the chat to answer questions. I was not able to attend in-person, received a survey via email but no link to the recording of the session. Overall, a rather disappointing presentation and follow-up and I'm a long-time owner of other Sonos products and a big fan of the product.
