Sons De Carrilhoes - Sounds of Bells - Guimaraes Pernambuco - ABRSM and Trinity Guitar Grade 7

Sons De Carrilhoes known as Sounds of Bells in English is probably the most famous composition of Brazilian composer Joao Guimaraes Pernambuco. The piece features the famous choros rhythm, also used by Villa-Lobos, and was the preferred composition device of Pernambuco. I first learned to play this piece many years ago when I was working through the grade system and becoming more advanced. it is still featured on the Classical Guitar Grade 7 syllabi of ABRSM and Trinity College London. It has a really upbeat feeling and is lively and happy, and the choros rhythm is mostly obvious throughout, the key is D major.
This piece was recorded recently at Rokit Studios in West London. The recording and video engineering was done by Mark Rose.
The guitar I used is a 2011 Filipe Conde FP14 NA CW, made in Madrid.
