Really cool to see Slaanesh on the board again, but the giants are a tough opponent. While Slaanesh is always swingy (too many abilities activating on a 6), that was a miscalculated deployment, I think, on Skari's end. He had the skirmish units, and even managed to make good use of the Blissbarb Seekers, but the battleround 2 decision to commit to a wide engagement was the beginning of the end. But I also think there can be value in some of the non-Lurid Haze lists, it's just a matter of leaning on the abilities of that faction. I almost think Pretenders has to be a demon-heavy army with a well-equipped Keeper backed by some buffs to really do solid work.

agree. they are too out of balance for what other armies can do. they may not win every game, but every game feels daunting against them, which is not fun.

Did I miss a rules update from White Dwarf? At 1:10:02, Skari rolls for a CP for his Keeper, rolls a 2, and says that he receives it. I miss a lot of WD rules updates that aren't into erattas yet.

I believe that if the general is dead then heroic leadership is successful on a 2+ instead of 4+

When the general is dead heroic leadership gives you a CP on a 2 instead of a 4

Guys, please help me. I'll finally start with AoS and I don't know which army I should choose. I like the Death army more, but I'm between: 1. Bonereapers 2. Nighthaunt 3. Stormcast 4. Lumineth I'm by the "rule of cool". Can anyone give me some insight?

Thats just an absurd. No matter how bad your rolls are, you cant be in the sutiuation like this, not killing a single model for whole game. King Brodd costs like 560 points and have 40 wounds, 4+ save, huge numbers of mortal wounds and attacks on 3+/3+;2+. He is not even slow! He has a 10" move! The best Slaanesh has is a Keeper that costs 400 points and have only 14 wounds, and squishy Sigvald. Someone say, you have the speed! But what the point? You cant kill your OP with the speed, and he will come in 2-3 turns and curbstomp whole your army in another 2 turns. You might say, oh, you just a pessimist who cant play! Maybe I'm not a specialist, but our friends from MWG already proved that, because I cant remember a single match of Slaanesh beats the behemots

Is this sarcasm? I don't see him being a sore loser at all. He took a very one-sided battle in extremely good manners, still playing out turns despite not really having a chance from turn 2 onwards just for fun and still cheering on Josh and joking around.
