Great tutorial. 👍🏻, I have been watching a lot of tutorials lately trying to decide on what faction I will start collecting. It was a close battle between Sons of horus, World Eaters, or the Ultrasmurfs. I have a box of 20 marines and two dreadnoughts assembled and about ready to paint. I'm going to pick up the sons of horus colors from your video. Great result with the paint work and it doesn't seem super complicated. Thanks for the tutorial!

I have a very similar way of doing my sons of horus! I use base with Kabalite green, then drybrush Syberite, and then Gauss blaster greens. Keeps that classic seafoam / jade colors, but it makes them more vibrant!

If one didn’t have an airbrush? Maybe heavy dry-brush of the first green colour over black to start with?

Dunno if you tried it but a couple of thin drybrush of your base colour will give ya a nice even colour as well as a heavy dry brush

Bit late to this one but is there a guide on how you done the base/weathered the feet or is that the wash?

Can you use white spirit to remove the enamel wash? I really want to try this recipe soon so wondering if what I already have is useful for it

No, the varnish is straight through the airbrush from the bottle :)
