Nine years ago (in 2012), I uploaded my first ever cover to KZbin - The cover of 'Sons of Skyrim' from the video game - 'The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim', played on a classical guitar. This cover was my gateway to the world of recording and mixing music (what today is my main job and the biggest hobby). At the time I played guitar only for about two years and wanted to share that with the world. I've decided to record two guitars, but I didn't know how to do it properly, so I grabbed a camera and recorded both of them with no metronome, only referencing the second guitar to the previous one. I connected them together in the video editing software and was pleasantly surprised with the result. I noticed that merging different recordings together is a lot of fun, so I decided to learn more about recording music. Today, because recently my channel passed 1000 subscribers, I've decided to redo the old cover in two versions: one being an epic, orchestral metal cover (to show you what I'm capable of after all those years), and the second being a direct remake of the old version of the cover, with the new sound and video, but recorded with the same guitar and with a similar camera placement! This video took me a long time to make, so if you like it, please share it with your friends and family! Thank you so much for 1000 subscribers! It was my goal since I made this channel in 2009!
