Probably because Spotify rip musicians off and pay them literally penny's for a song. It makes sense to put your back catalogue on there but if your trying to do well with a new single it's not the wisest thing putting it on there.

@@jackiesaik6710 I wouldn't know how old the song is I've never heard of these guys before, I just liked one of there songs earlier. I'm just speaking from personal experience being a musician and a lot of my friends in bands have told me all about it. There are still artists who won't agree to any of there music being on there. No YT don't pay per play it's all on views and subscriptions but if your in the tens of thousands per day you can make money as you probably know there's a lot of rich You tubers these days. Point being if a band sold a song or download say for a dollar they get a percentage so with thousands of sales it's worthwhile where as 10,000 streams on Spotify pays a couple of dollars if that.

And The reason I asked why this single wasn't on Spotify was because they have their other music on Spotify. p.s. I've worked as a designer for a record label for 6 years but it's real neat when a person assumes things on the internet about someones overall knowledge based on one comment. Good luck!
