The creator still actually caring about the project after it's been out for so long is actually a small miracle. Think about it. You're working on the same thing for decades, your creativity being stifled by business concerns and only ever being able to iterate. Most of the original talent bails relatively quickly and uses their clout to get new projects they actually enjoy.

Great start to a new series! I loved the flip on Alan's past type of character--he nails the new role as an obnoxious, insensitive, money-hungry boss. Rowan is still somewhat Rowan, and he does it well, but I hope to see him play an Adam-type character someday. It would also be cool to see Adam flip his character type to someone like Rowan, but he always does the kind and sensitive characters well. The new actress is great--I immediately connected with her over her shattered dreams as reality soured her hope. Her tone and expressions were really good and totally sold her character! My favorite line was Adam telling her that it's usually a good thing when nothing is decided at the meetings. I can't wait for more!

Very interesting start, and curious to see where this will head. I do have to say that these series where the characters are overly over the top are a lot more difficult for me to watch as they seem to purely rely on the shock value for comedic relief rather than a stronger story with a bit of a twist towards the end (or at least having a couple characters be properly grounded in reality like Bored has). Haven’t been able to enjoy the house rental series due to that either because of how on the nose and over the top everything is there, hoping this series won’t go in the same direction
