The Forest was a survival game that took the world of gaming (and KZbin) by storm. It offered Triple A graphics with an awesome setting to explore with mixtures of horror as well. The game got better with each update and that resulted in many having high hopes for its sequel.
Now the waiting is finally over and we once again meet our foes on the beaches of island. This time we play as a special agent who crashes on the island and we have to use our GPS to locate various points of interest and learn new things about the lore and backstory of this mysterious place.
What I always love with The Forest and this game is that it does environmental storytelling so well. Each location you stumble upon or explore feels beautifully detailed and teaches you just a bit more about the story.
In order to beat the story, you will need to explore various dark caves full of horrifying enemies and delve deep into giant facilities which house the secrets of a project that companies had been working on.
The game was awesome, but quite short. It is still in Early Access and I am sure they will update the game and its story in the future which will lead to an overall better pacing and narrative structure.

@captain unsinn Is it random where they are dropped off at the start? On this other playthrough I watched, the chopper was underwater and he awoke of the beach. Kelvin was still all brain damaged and stuff.

@@Darkblue4269 I dont know but i think so. Starting point can be the beach, in the forest or on the mountain in the snow. In all three points you have Kelvin and the same starting stuff ;)

Not a good game. I wasn't enthusiastic about it at all. Looks like a bad game. The characters don't speak either. I don't know, I didn't like the game. But kudos to you for the video. Very nice
