I am quite surprised you are also using Sonus Faber with Sonic Frontiers. I was driving my Sonus Faber Concertino (smaller version than yours) with SFL-1 and SFS40 Power Amp. It was pretty good but the preamp just wasn't giving me enough space and definition. So I repaced the SFL1 with my Audio Research LS26 preamp. The result was much different. I since also added a subwoofer. I'm mainly playing Vinyl through my Rega RP6 now. I was using a Theta Va DAC streaming but that wasn't satisfying enough for me.

Good sounding speakers can be driven with better amp how ever Jamo concert 8 are worth a listen.

I had mine recapped and tweeters replacement. I had them running i just playing radio (back ground music) for a few weeks, then stored them away. Eventually i decided to sell them, when i powered them up i left them on for 24 hrs WOW SIMPLY WOW. I tried everything to back out selling them....it was to late. I'm getting another pair, you got to be spending some serious money in order to get that sound.

have you tried the power 1 with the line1se preamp? or did you happen to combine it with the proac?

Hello, I have not tried with Proac. I have had the sfl1 and the sfl1SE, they both sound very good, the SE places the instrument better on stage, but the Sfl1 has more musicality.

@@gades-hifi does the pre line 1 combined with its power 1 sound good in your opinion? and a matching bun ??the line1 preamplifier with which tube power amplifier did you match it and did it sound very good?
