My 12-24gm came in 4 days ago and i went out with it last night. Still working with it but so far so good. I had the Canon L11-24 f4 it was 3k also but heavy as hell. try caring that lens it's like carring a new born baby. Great video

Terry you are so right about the distortion and more importantly if you shoot buildings or real-estate photography you must be level and get the lines straight, otherwise, you have a mess. I own the Sigma 14-24 and will have a 16-35mm today (used) because the 16-35mm is easier to use when you are capturing Landscapes because of the ND Filters it has OSS and it's slightly easier to balance on a gimbal. The 14-24mm Sigma also has the slot in the back of the lens for ND Filters, but as you said it's limiting unless you plan on going with a real elaborate set-up (due to the Bulbus front element) which will cost you several hundred dollars (think 400-800 dollars) to shoot square 150mm graduated filters. Most of my ND Filters will fit the 16-35mm. For me 12mm is too wide and $3000 is too expensive, but if you need it you do.

For me personally I think I'd still rather have the 16-35mm. For my style of shooting that focal range is more appealing to me. I wish I could have both haha

Great review and I agree the cost is really up there when adding only $500 dollars more, you can have a brand new "latest and greatest" Sony camera. I think they will have to address the real elephant in the room...restructuring their prices for their awesome products to make them even more awesome! I'm proud of you brother!
