I've had this lens for a year now, but the CA gets me sometimes, but i don't know any lens that wouldn't struggle as well. The quality of this lens is the best according to the price. Still would want the GM tho😅

Friend, there is a small white dot on the front element, my lens has exactly the same size, I bought a new one and it looks like a white dot inside

I'm pretty sure the dot on mine was on the outside and just there because it needed cleaning. I don't think it's an actual issue

Yeah, 85mm is a very common portrait focal length an the auto focus is good enough for videos. Optically, it's not a super clean lens, there's some LOCA but it's only noticeable on high contrast areas and really only up close.
