Sony should launch A1ii at $6000 and reduce A1 to $4999. Nikon Z9 is $5500.. with Z8 and Z9 lot of people already switched to Nikon. If Sony keeps increasing prices it won’t sell much and eventually they will have to reduce the price. That’s what happened to Canon .. R3 launched at $5999 and now it’s $4400 Same thing happened to R5… it launched at $3999 and later it was selling for $3500

For my purposes, the A9III with the global shutter would be the best camera for me. But unless I can buy a couple used at a very good price, I will continue to use my A7III.

Another big vote for a modern RX10 V with their latest battery. That will be something! A1 II will probably be just evolutionary and I guess the a1 iii may be revolutionary

The a1 ii would have to bring so much more to the table for me to even contemplate. I've been holding out on getting an a1 for a long time because of the a1 ii's rumours so if it doesn't live up to my expectations and features I'd like then a1 it is.

I own or have owned just about every camera that Sony has made. I currently do most of my work with A1's. The camera I would most want to see would be the RX10 IV upgrade. In good light it's amazing. A little better and bigger sensor and it would be my number 1.

IF Sony released a body with the same dimension of the Canon R3...I would QUICKLY switch from Canon to Sony in milliseconds!!! Sony bodies are just TOO SMALL for MY big ol' catcher's mitts!!! 😭

24-600 is #1, I hate it but use it daily for convenience and I own everything. WANT it with the new battery and technology!!! Sony has no idea that this camera is solid gold. Sony doesn't get it.
