Sony a6400 in 2024 - Still The Best Beginner Camera?

Everybody warn me about battery life.... So i bought 6 of them.... And after that I realize i can take 800 shots with one battery.... It all depends how you set up your camera... So i sold 3 batteries

Yes I definitely recommend it, I recently did a brand shoot with it and concert photography with it, definitely worth it, very cheap on mpb and Facebook market place!

6000, 6100, 6300, 6400, 6500, 6600, ZVE10 all use the same sensor. You will get the same output irrespective of the model.

Still have mine, but upgraded to a74 also, just wished i had bought full frame lenses from the start tho. Crop lenses are good and cheaper but if you end up going full frame only get limited use out of them.

Yeah totally get that, getting full frame glass was the biggest expense after upgrading 😭

Just sold my G9 and m43 lenses to switch to Sony. I’ve shot Nikon (d3200, d3300, d3500, D7100, D7200, Z5), Canon (t3i, 70D), m43 (E-M1 ii, G9, G85), but never Sony. I got this camera with the student discount for $658. Even at the sale price of $750, I think this camera is a lot of camera for the money. I have a limited budget right now, so I just got the sigma 30mm 1.4 with the student discount for $289. I think for the price that combo is an incredible value.

Well I’m 33 years old. I got an associate degree 10 years ago but went back to school during the pandemic and will be done with my bachelor degree in December. I definitely have GAS and there is equipment I regret selling for sure.

Not to offend or anything but the video in the park could have been better if you mounted the camera on a tripod it would have helped a lot still very informative video keep it up.....❤❤
