- Sony BVH-3100 1 Inch type C format VTR testing after repaired .
- Đầu Video chuyên dụng định dạng 1 Inch Type C Sony BVH-3100 .
- Định dạng này dùng băng 1 Inch . Model BVH-3100 có trang bị chức năng Auto loading được thực hiện bằng hệ thống quạt và ống dẫn gió giúp đơn giản hóa việc quấn băng qua các cụm đầu từ ( Các model thấp hơn như BVH-1000 , BVH-2000... phải tiến hành bằng tay) .
- Tuy chất lượng không bằng Betacam SP nhưng do tính ổn định cao , ít rủi ro nên được sử dụng rất rộng rãi , chủ yếu trong lĩnh vực phát sóng . Hiện nay nhiều đài truyền hình trên khắp thế giới vẫn còn sử dụng định dạng 1 Inch type C này làm tiêu chuẩn phát sóng .

I have a HDD-1000 but the digital audio section has problem . When play back a tape , video is OK but the audio condition red led lights on and no digital audio outputs.

Felicidades por el equipo que tienes, es una obra maestra de Sony, sin esas camaras, video tapes, grabadoras, equipo corrector-digitalizador, cables , microfonos y cables hi res, sin eso no tendriamos la tv digital de hoy dia, lo mismo poder grabar de la tv o filmar en la camara fotografica o filmadora....en fin esas obras de ingenieria japonesas hacen del hoy una calidad de imagen que cuando yo era niño (80s-90s) ni habria sospechado seria tan clara nitida y de la calidad de sonido estereo dolby que ya muchos televisores traen incorporados, felicidades por tener tales equipos Sony y el monitor Toshiba, saludos desde Uruguay.

What commercial video tape formats were used after quad? What does a network or tv station use now?

Nowadays they not use vcrs at all

After quad, type c was often used for NTSC and type b was often used for PAL, then betacam and some other proffessional formats like mii were used, then many transitioned to dv based formats like dvpro, dvcam and some used professional disc. And finally they transitioned to file based storage so hard drives, flash memory in SSDs and memory cards, and LTO tape for archival, several memory card types are in use like SxS for Sony, SD cards and CF express, and of course SSDs are used

Have all of your tapes gone sticky? Where do you find C format tape that is safe to put in the machine?

Hi Timbly-wx2ft ! About 50% of my tapes gone sticky or peel off magnetic powder( Most are Ampex and Scotch ) , and moldy problem ( Most are Fujifilm ), while all Sony tape are still OK. Peel off magnetic powder tapes cannot be restored . Moldy tapes can be restored by isopropyl alcohol 99 but they will re-mody again when environmental humidity increases. I'm in Asia and I bought the Sony 1 inch tape from Japan. Perhaps Sony tapes are produced for the Japanese market are suitable for Asian climate conditions, so these tapes are still used well in my country.

Interesting. I have an EIAJ format 1/2" Sony machine here and ALL of my tapes have gone sticky. They are Scotch (411??). I have 1 Sony and that too is sticky. I will try baking them at 50degrees for a day at some point so that I can copy them to digital.

@@asapfilms2519 Common devices from the 80s don't have high resolution output ,if we use modern capture devide to digitalize the tape , it also only gives the same quality as the original.If we want better quality, we can have post-processing or remastering.

@@misu4602 You sure that isnt just from an existing rip from youtube thats been compressed or downloaded in 144p? Then again i dont see why the direct feed of the concert video that played before it isnt shown also?

@@thetutorialhd5927 The concert video that played before was recorded in 80s so the quality is not good , moreover it's copyrighted music so i didn't display picture loud and record sound clearly. The second video part is self recording tape.
