Sony BVH-3100 open reel “1 inch VTR reel to reel video tape machine test run demo

A test of my “1 open reel type c Sony BVH-3100 VTR one of the last “1 VTR models made by Sony. Mine thankfully still works perfectly knock on wood. Took me years to find one in working condition and for a decent price. These machines were the broadcast industry standard throughout the late 80s into the early 2000s and were used for mastering video releases as well.

If anyone reading this has any old VTRs in Toronto Canada they want to sell like Betacam SP, Digital Betacam, 3/4” Umatic SP, Hi8, SVHS, D-1/D-2 MKII, HDCAM, open reel “1 inch Type C Type B VTRs and more I am looking for these old machines to save and preserve don’t scrap them!
