Thanks a lot for refreshing my memory I have the same exact Camera that I used to take videos when my kids were little and forgot about it the last time I used it was in 2002, so now thanks to you I have learned to operate it again.

I’ve been looking for the av inputs and it was hidden behind a lid it didn’t even have a label on it so I didn’t even notice it or think it was detachable this was helpful

My mum sent me hers with old tapes to try and convert to digital and it's been so challenging.

Can you give us measurements please? How long is the handle and would you say you have large hands? just trying to figure out if that will fit on my hand. And how big around is that glass thing in the front and does it come with it? You mentioned the "power cord in the wall" would I be able to use it without "the wall"? would you say that the battery works? I have a "standard cable" but it doesn't look like the one your showed. Will it work? Do you deliver?

I just found mine today Jan 2024 the charger is not working so I don't know if the camera is any good can't find a charger on amazon or in any store in Canada any ideas? I don't even know if the battery is good could you plse show the end of the cord on your battery as mind does not plug into a wall it is differnt

that camcorder is a beast [size] compared to others similar. Looks like holding a brick and recording.

Is yours the TR44? Same thing happening to me, battery hasnt fully charged cause im eager to try it so maybe thats why

Alot of camcorders back in the day had their displays in black and white, but they are infact recording coloured video! When you watch your footage back on a TV or digitise it, it will be coloured :)

I’m so thankful, I was wondering why I couldn’t do playback on our old cam. I have the remote but I think they left the battery in, so it’s eroded on the inside. Do you think it’s possible to get a new remote and program it?

I've found my mum's camera, which is the same as yours, with all its cassettes. I'd like to play back the cassettes for our memories as a child, but the camera no longer has a battery and the charger is no longer in her bag. I've looked hard on the internet but I can't find a quick, easy and inexpensive solution.

I also find my uncle's handycam, it's all complete except for the remote, I have 3 extra batteries. I don't even know how to use it, I put the charger on the cam but I don't know how to get it out, do you know how to use it??

I have a question mine doesn’t have the red output only the yellow and white but I only have red white and yellow cables so I don’t know what to do to display my video.

Mine is a CCD TRV29 like it records but I can’t find any video or anything to display. I read the manual but I see it only has red and white cables and I haven’t been able to find them

HELP!!! I just charged the battery, tried to play an old tape, and while i was trying to rewind it, the cam started beeping. Now it won't turn on. The battery is fully charged, it's like if the hardware is bugging. My camera is a sony handycam video 8 ccd-tr420e pal
