Nice review. I just bought this camera and read the manual. Sony say do not push down or pull up the flash as it can damage the cam....

You could improve it slightly with a screen cover, but a shield would be better.

just got this the other day, really happy! had mess around the battery has been fine for me but i havent tried alot of video or panoramic shots. just a tip DONT PUSH THE FLASH BACK DOWN!!!! its motorised so hides itself away. might damage it if you push it down!

Would this camera be ideal for concerts? I need a camera that will take great pics in low light, have enough zoom, etc, etc. Also, how would video fare in a concert setting? Will it still sound good in loud settings? Does it auto focus when you zoom in while recording?

Nice review Dave - It's £300 on Amazon with £40 cash back currently from Sony, so £399 retail down to £260 after cashback already! I've got the HX20 camera and love it, sold my Panasonic camcorder and Canon camera as the video and pics are much better on this! You can get spare batteries for £15, probably less on EBay - and going to order a screen protector which should help in sunlight, though I haven't noticed the issue yet.

Definitely agree that this Sony takes beautiful pictures and the max zoom is awesome but you'll need a tripod to get the best pics. Great camera and they can be had for less than $100 in 2018.

I don't think the 20V has wifi. If you need Wifi you'll have to look at the 30V or find a cheaper camera with Wifi. I use my older Canon PowerShot A3500 IS and swap cards to upload photos to my smartphone. The Canon app works well and comes in handy when you want to post but don't have access to a computer.
