Sony DTC-A8 - 4 direct drive motors semi-pro Digital Audio Tape Recorder & Super Best Mapping!

This time we have one semi-pro Digital Audio Tape Recorder, Sony DTC-A8. It's coming with 4 direct drive motors, which means less belts, and a better mechanism.
We also have Super Best Mapping, I believe that I can hear that music sounds better with it, I would use it all the time, and you can find it also on the lower model A6.

SBM only operates on Recording, it's not required on play back (a bit like HX Pro on a cassette deck). It basically shifts certain noise to higher frequencies above human hearing. If SBM has been used on a recording any deck can play it back & still benefit from the SBM result, as no SBM play back circuitry is required. So switching in on & off during play back will make no difference. 👍
